1. App use and eligibility
You may use the app for lawful translation and learning purposes subject to these terms, applicable law and the rules of the store through which you obtained it. If you are not legally able to agree to these terms yourself, a parent or legal guardian must authorize your use where permitted. The app's finalized age and privacy requirements also apply.
2. Permission to use the app
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable permission to install and use the app on compatible devices you own or control. This does not transfer ownership of the app, branding, software or learning materials. Rights expressly granted by law remain unaffected.
3. Features and availability
The app provides language tools described in its current store listing. Features can vary with the release, Android version, permissions, network access and service availability. Online features may require an internet connection and incur your provider's data charges. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or indefinite support for every device.
4. Translation accuracy
Automated translations, recognition results, definitions and learning examples may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable for a particular context. Review results before using or sharing them. Do not rely solely on the app for medical care, legal documents, financial decisions, emergencies or other situations where an error could cause harm. Obtain qualified assistance when accuracy is essential.
5. Your text, speech and files
You retain any rights you hold in material you provide. Submit only material you are entitled to process, and obtain permission where required before recording someone or using their information. Use of a translation feature does not grant us ownership of your content. Processing and any transfers to service providers must follow the app's finalized Privacy Policy.
Do not use the app to disclose another person's confidential information without authorization. Keep copies of material you need; removing the app or clearing storage may remove local information, and a recovery service is not promised.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use the app unlawfully, infringe another person's rights, introduce harmful code, interfere with services, evade access restrictions, or attempt unauthorized access to systems or information. Restrictions on copying, modification or reverse engineering apply only to the extent permitted by law; statutory rights and applicable open-source licences remain unaffected.
7. Advertising and third-party services
The app is advertised as free and supported by ads. Third-party advertisements, websites and services may be governed by their own terms. We do not endorse a third-party product merely because its advertisement appears in the app. Review the relevant provider's information before interacting with an external service.
These terms do not create a subscription or payment obligation. If paid options are introduced, their price and applicable conditions must be presented separately before you authorize a purchase.
8. Updates and ending use
Updates may change features or compatibility. You can stop using the app and uninstall it at any time. Uninstalling does not itself cancel an independently purchased subscription or delete information held by an external provider. We may restrict misuse or discontinue a service where permitted by law, subject to any required notice and consumer remedies.
9. Intellectual property
The app and original materials belong to their respective rights holders. Third-party dictionaries, libraries, trademarks and other materials remain subject to their applicable rights and licences. Google Play and Google marks belong to Google; their use does not imply Google's endorsement of the app.
10. Warranties and responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the app is supplied as available without additional promises of fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted operation or error-free results. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, or removes mandatory consumer protections or remedies. Responsibility for loss is determined under applicable law.
11. Changes and applicable rights
We may revise these terms for changes in the app or legal requirements. The finalized version will state an effective date. Material revisions will be communicated as required by law, and changes will not retrospectively remove accrued rights. These terms do not impose mandatory arbitration, a foreign forum or a waiver of statutory rights.
